Enjoy a crunchy, protein-packed snack with this easy cottage cheese chips recipe. Perfect for low-carb and keto diets, these chips are quick to make and deliciously satisfying.
Ingredients
1 cup cottage cheese, well drained
1 large egg
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons almond flour (or coconut flour)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/4 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Additional seasonings to taste (paprika, herbs, chili powder, etc.)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Drain excess liquid from the cottage cheese thoroughly to prevent sogginess.
In a mixing bowl, combine the drained cottage cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using). Mix well until a thick batter forms.
Spread the mixture thinly and evenly onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a flat layer approximately 1/8 inch thick.
Bake for 15–20 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown and the chips are firm to the touch.
Remove from the oven and transfer chips onto a wire rack to cool completely and crisp up further.
Once cooled, break into chip-sized pieces and enjoy! Serve with your favorite dip or enjoy as is.
Notes
For a crispier texture, you can also air fry the mixture at 350°F for 10-15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Feel free to add fresh herbs, spices, or seeds to customize flavors.
Store leftover chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
