A light and fluffy low-carb alternative to traditional bread, perfect for breakfast sandwiches and more.


Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • Parchment paper (for baking)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the egg yolks and whites into two bowls.
  3. Whip the egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  4. In the bowl with the yolks, mix in the cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the egg yolk mixture.
  6. Spoon blobs of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping them as desired.
  7. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden, and let cool before serving.

Notes

Cloud bread is best enjoyed fresh but can be toasted the next day.
