A quick, creamy, and cheesy One-Pan Cheeseburger Macaroni that brings together the savory flavors of cheeseburgers with the comfort of macaroni. Perfect for busy weeknights, this recipe is easy to prepare and requires minimal clean-up
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (or turkey for a leaner version)
2 cups elbow macaroni
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup beef broth (or vegetable broth for a lighter version)
1/2 cup milk (or use unsweetened almond milk for a dairy-free option)
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for sautéing)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Brown the ground beef:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.Add onions and garlic:
Add the chopped onions and garlic powder to the beef. Stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the onions are soft and fragrant.Add liquids and pasta:
Stir in the beef broth and milk. Bring to a simmer and then add the uncooked elbow macaroni. Stir well to combine.Simmer:
Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more broth or milk if the liquid evaporates too quickly.Stir in the cheese:
Once the pasta is cooked and the liquid is mostly absorbed, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. Keep stirring until the cheese is fully melted and the mixture is creamy.Garnish and serve:
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley (optional) and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious One-Pan Cheeseburger Macaroni!
Notes
For a lighter version, swap the ground beef with ground turkey or use a plant-based protein alternative.
You can easily adjust the spices to your taste by adding chili flakes, paprika, or even mustard for extra flavor.
To make the recipe even quicker, use pre-shredded cheese.
